Australian Standards

The Standards Association of Australia has established a number of standards, which govern the selection, and specification of aluminium joinery for use in domestic construction. These are:

Compliance Testing

Vantage Aluminium Joinery has been extensively tested in a registered window-testing laboratory, and the windows and doors exceed the requirements of the standards. This enables Midcoast Windows to affix a label to each window and door showing compliance with these standards.

Installation

Maintenance

Some components incorporated into Vantage Aluminium Joinery will need maintaining from time to time, depending on product application and use.

Cleaning Aluminium

Joinery is well known for its lasting durability. To ensure that your joinery continues to look good, regular cleaning is essential. A sponge down with warm water and mild detergent will suffice. Powder Coating

Powder coat surface finishing is electrostatically applied producing an average film build up of a minium 40 microns, giving high mark resistance, colour retention and excellent mechanical properties. Applied over chromate conversion, powder coating offers outstanding weather and corrosion resistance. Mid Coast Windows powder coating comply with AS 3715-1989: Powder Coating Application.
